The judgement was declared by the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court for holding conspiracies against the country. The operatives were sentenced to life term imprisonment after the case was caught, on the explosion of Bhopal-Ujjain train on March 7,2017 that wounded more than 10 passengers. They are all charged against section 121 of the IPC along with the UAPA, Arms Act and the Explosive Substances Act, for initiating war against the country.
