 Bharat Jodo Yatra:-
The second leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which covers the nation from East to West is being considered by Congress. Rahul Gandhi urged for pushing the motive of the Bharat Jodo Yatra forward when he announced the next foot march from Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh to Porbandar in Gujarat. “There is a lot of enthusiasm and vitality. Personally, I agree that it is necessary, but the format of the Arunachal to Gujarat yatra might differ from that of the south-to-north Bharat Jodo Yatra”, the general secretary of the Congress party commented. Bharat Jodo Yatra The party's general secretary claimed that after Rahul Gandhi's 4,000 km journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, there was a lot of enthusiasm and energy among party members; therefore, Cong plans Bharat Jodo Yatra’s 2nd leg to unroll equality and unity all across India. “However, because of the rivers and forest areas along the route, the East-to-West yatra would be a multi-modal yatra. But for the most part, it would be a padayatra”, Congress party senior officials further added. Sonia Gandhi expressed her happiness and congratulated Rahul Gandhi on Bharat Jodo Yatra's last leg. “The yatra marked a turning moment in history. It has demonstrated that the vast majority of Indians desire peace, tolerance, and equality. The yatra has demonstrated to us all that the Congress is ready to stand up for the people and fight for them”, Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party said.
