The filing of charges by the police in the Sanjeev Jeeva murder case is a major development. According to the indictment, a network of conspirators included hired assassins from Nepal, and a local assistant in Lucknow was at work.

The murder of Sanjeev Maheshwari, also known as Sanjeev Jeeva, was allegedly planned and carried out by Badan Singh Baddo, according to a chargesheet filed in a Lucknow court on June 7th. According to reports, Badan Singh Baddo hired professional assassin Vijay Yadav to carry out the murder. A sum of fifty thousand Indian rupees was offered to Vijay Yadav if he would carry out the hit.

According to the complaint, Vijay Yadav and Badan Singh Baddo met in Nepal with the help of an intermediary named Aslam. It is believed that the murder of Sanjeev Jeeva was discussed at this meeting.

A long-running extortion dispute between Badan Singh Baddo and Sanjeev Jeeva in western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand provides the impetus for this murderous plot. Sanjeev Jeeva routinely wore a bulletproof vest because he was afraid for his life. On the day of the murder, however, he opted not to wear it, giving the hot weather as his excuse.

As the case progresses, investigators will continue to piece together the intricate details of this conspiracy, seeking justice for the slain lawyer.
