Celina Jaitly Responds to Girl Expressing Dislike for Her Brown Skin: 'Focus on Becoming Your Best Self, Not an Artificial Doll !

Celina Jaitly has written a message aimed at young girls who encounter disparaging remarks about their brown skin tone and aspire to resemble Barbie dolls. She urges them not to pursue a plastic doll-like appearance and emphasizes the beauty of every skin color. This initiative was prompted by a girl who confided in Celina that she despises her own brown skin.

Brown Girl
Be love yourself as you are . Don't hate brown colour

Sharing a striking self-portrait, Celina Jaitly addressed the young girl's plight, stating, "Didi, I hate my brown skin…." Inspired by a heartfelt message from a 15-year-old girl (identity withheld upon request), I've chosen to share this modified version of my photo with her. It's a visual reminder that the hue of one's skin, eyes, or hair should not dictate the perception of beauty."

In her message, Celina elaborated that the girl had written to her, saying: "Didi, I want to look like you and become a real-life Barbie who possesses fairness and your eyes. I despise my brown skin color, as well as my black eyes and hair. I face ridicule due to my dark complexion, and people in my neighborhood, including my aunt, label me as 'brown bakri' (brown goat). How can I transform myself to resemble you? Why do I find myself in this situation?"

Artificial Glow
Avoid to give artificial look but try to be present yourself as you are

In light of the prevailing Barbie trend, Celina pointed out, "Amidst the widespread #barbie AI trend, I can't help but notice the absence of genuine and inclusive portrayal of diverse races and ethnicities on social media. Amidst the ongoing surge in #barbie movie content across social platforms, besides the glaring inaccuracies in cultural representation, the extensively whitewashed AI-generated Barbies have caught my attention. It led me to ponder over the message I'm inadvertently conveying to young girls while endorsing a particular beauty ideology."
