BTS Member J-Hope Undergoes Military Enlistment Process, Fans Heartbroken

Giving a major blow to the sentiments of the K-Pop musical giant, BTS’ fans, another BTS member J-Hope has begun the military enlistment process. BTS member J-Hope will be the second member to join the military from BTS after Jin who has already undergone the military enlistment process. The Korean Military Service Policy for Civilians South Korea had introduced the mandatory military service policy for civilians in 2020 in which all healthy men who have reached the age of 28 years are supposed to mandatorily serve the South Korean military for a period of 18 to 21 months. The policy was majorly brought in order to counter the threat that persists due to the military actions of North Korea. BTS Member J-Hope K-Pop Musical Giant BTS Also Not Exempted Even celebrities such as the K-Pop musical giant, BTS was not exempted from the policy and resultantly, BTS member J-Hope is the second member from the band to be undergoing the military enlistment process after Jin. Jin joined the military when he turned 30 years after canceling his application for postponing his military service. The same has now been done by BTS member J-Hope. A notice has been shared by BIGHIT music on social media mentioning that J-Hope has applied for cancellation of his military postponement request and will be joining the military soon.
