Murder Araria: 18-Year-Old Boy

Shock and horror have spread over the Araria neighborhood after the horrible death of an 18-year-old teenager named Mohd Imtiaz. His dead body was discovered in Banspatti, which is under the jurisdiction of the Tarabari police station. The body showed awful evidence of violence.

The son of Shamshad in ward 16 of the Saharanpur panchayat, Imtiaz, had gone to Tarabari on Monday but did not come home that night. His loved ones were worried about him and tried to reach out to him, but he had turned off his phone. On Tuesday, after a futile 24-hour search, his whereabouts were listed as missing.

Imtiaz's slit throat and cut fingers, nose, ears, and lips were among the horrible details that were received after finding his body. Acid had been put over his face to further conceal his identification.

As the police attempted to investigate this horrible crime, they encountered resistance from locals who wouldn't let them take the body anywhere for a post-mortem. They insisted that a dog squad do an intensive on-site examination. At last, the officials calmed the throng down enough to continue with the autopsy.
