The MLA from the Ghosi constituency in eastern Uttar Pradesh has made the bold decision to resign from the state Assembly, signaling his intent to join the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and potentially contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election. This move has been met with accusations of a "breach of trust" from the SP.

However, circumstances have since changed, prompting his return to the BJP, a decision that aligns with his role as a "soldier of social justice," as described by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
