Jean-Pierre emphasized that Modi's upcoming state visit on June 22 presents an important occasion to reaffirm the strong and enduring partnership between the United States and India.

 

"I believe it's a positive development, as it demonstrates the prime minister's visit on June 22 has generated a great deal of enthusiasm," responded Karine Jean-Pierre when asked about President Biden receiving an overwhelming number of requests from Indian-Americans who eagerly desire an invitation to the highly coveted state dinner honoring Prime Minister Modi.

During the recent Quad meeting in Japan, it was reported that Joe Biden approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi and mentioned receiving numerous requests from influential individuals to participate in the Indian leader's events during his upcoming state visit to Washington, D.C. In a lighthearted manner, the U.S. President also suggested that Modi should request his autograph.

 

According to reports, Joe Biden expressed his concern to PM Modi about the overwhelming popularity of an upcoming dinner event in Washington, as he had run out of tickets and was receiving numerous requests from unfamiliar individuals, including movie actors and relatives.

 

Similarly, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also faced difficulties accommodating the overwhelming number of requests he received for a community event where Modi spoke.
