Australian Parliament Passes Free Trade Agreement With India

A tweet by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese revealed that the Australian Parliament has passed a Free Trade Agreement in favor of India.

The agreement has supposedly come up after the discussion of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi who met in Bali, Indonesia on the sidelines of the recently concluded G-20 Summit-2022.

Earlier this year on April 2 the two sides signed The Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA). The Australian government considers India the fastest-growing economy in the world and it has a very positive outlook for the future business prospects with India.
