The operation, jointly executed by Assam Rifles and state police, led to the arrest of one individual in Zokhawthar village. This decisive action came following an intelligence tip, underscoring the collaborative efforts to curb illicit activities in the region.

Continuing the anti-narcotics campaign, security forces confiscated 34.9 grams of heroin worth Rs 17.4 lakh from the Zemabawk area of Aizawl.
