The Indian Navy invites applications for SSC IT Executive posts in Recruitment 2023. 


The Indian Navy is seeking applications from unmarried eligible men and women candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (IT) in the Executive Branch. The Special Naval Orientation Course will commence from January 2024 onwards at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Kerala. 


Application Process
The Indian Navy is seeking applications from unmarried eligible men and women candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (IT) in the Executive Branch.

Eligibility Criteria 


Candidates born between January 2, 1999, and July 1, 2004, are eligible to apply. 


To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English in either class X or XII and must meet one of the following educational qualifications with at least 60% overall qualifying marks:

(a) MSc/BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, Cyber Security, System Administration & Networking, Computer Systems & Networking, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence.

(b) MCA with BCA/BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.


A total of 35 vacancies are available for both men and women in this SSC IT Executive position. The online submission of applications will be open from August 4, 2023, to August 20, 2023.


How to Apply


To apply for the Indian Navy's SSC IT Executive posts, candidates need to register and fill out the application on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in starting from August 4, 2023. Candidates may prepare in advance by filling in their details and uploading the required documents. 


Indian Naval Academy (INA)
The Special Naval Orientation Course will commence from January 2024 onwards at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Kerala.

During the e-application process, candidates should have their relevant documents ready, including marks sheets, date of birth proof, NCC 'C' certificate (if applicable), and a recent passport-sized colour photograph, scanned in original JPG/TIFF format. 


All personal details are supposed to be correctly filled in as per the Matriculation Certificate. Mandatory fields, such as email address and mobile number, must be provided. Once the application is submitted, no changes will be entertained. 


Candidates must take a printout of the application and carry it during the SSB interview. Any illegible or unreadable scanned documents may lead to rejection of the application.
