The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, Shaktikanta Das, received an "A+" rating in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023, as announced by the central bank on Friday. In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the RBI conveyed their delight, stating, "We are pleased to announce that Governor Shaktikanta Das has been awarded an "A+" rating in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023. Das has secured the top position among the three central bank governors who achieved an A+ rating."

According to an official statement from Global Finance magazine, the central bank governors who attained an "A+" grade in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023 include Shaktikanta Das from India, Thomas J. Jordan from Switzerland, and Nguyen Thi Hong from Vietnam.
