Amit Shah’s Arunachal Visit Ignites China:-

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during his visit to Arunachal Pradesh on Monday, asserted India's stance on territorial sovereignty by declaring that the country will not tolerate any encroachment on its Land. However, his statement has drawn an outraged response from China, accusing Shah's visit to the state of violating its sovereignty and disturbing the peace in border regions.

This latest development highlights the continuing tensions between the two nations over their disputed border, with neither side willing to back down.

Amit Shah recently inaugurated the 'Vibrant Villages Programme' (VVP) at Kibithoo, the first village near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh's Anjaw district. During the event, Shah praised the bravery of the soldiers of the Indian Army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), stating that their valor has made it impossible for anyone to challenge the sovereignty of India's borders.

He further added that India's stance on border encroachment is firm and that the country will not tolerate even the slightest infringement on its land. "Our policy is clear," Shah affirmed, "We seek peaceful coexistence with all, but we will not permit even an inch of our land to be encroached upon."

With the VVP, the Indian government aims to promote sustainable development in remote villages and enhance the quality of life of its citizens.

In a recent statement, a government official emphasized their country's policy of maintaining peaceful relationships with all nations while also asserting their strong stance on defending their land. The official stated that any attempt to encroach upon their territory would not be tolerated, emphasizing the importance of protecting their sovereignty. The statement reflects the country's commitment to diplomatic solutions while also asserting its readiness to take necessary measures to safeguard its borders.

China's foreign ministry spokesperson, in a media briefing held in Beijing, recently stated that Zangnan, the Chinese name for Arunachal Pradesh, is an integral part of China's territory. The spokesperson further added that the recent activity of the senior Indian official in Zangnan goes against China's territorial sovereignty and does not help maintain peace and stability in the border areas.

China expressed its strong opposition to such activities and urged India to refrain from any actions that could undermine the territorial integrity of China.

The recent visit by Shah to a state in India has come on the heels of a diplomatic disagreement between India and China over a G20 meeting held in the state's capital of Itanagar. In response, Beijing has taken the controversial step of renaming certain villages in the area to assert its claim over the region. This development has added to existing tensions between the two nations and raised concerns about the potential for further conflict in the region.

Kibithoo, India's last village located in the southern region of the Line of Actual Control, is an asset for India due to its unique cultural heritage and breathtaking natural beauty, making it a popular destination for travelers and adventurers.

Nevertheless, India and China are currently in a border dispute in the Himalayan region, with tensions escalating due to India's efforts to improve infrastructure on its side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Despite objections from China, India has continued to ramp up work on roads and bridges near the disputed border, leading to occasional skirmishes and troop deployments on both sides.

The Indian government has prioritized border villages, such as Kibithoo, as the nation's first settlements rather than the last, recognizing their crucial role in national security and the need to improve conditions for those living in challenging border regions. This commitment has been echoed by both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, who credit PM Modi's love and respect for these areas as the driving force behind this conceptual shift.

The recent statements by an Indian politician praising the Modi government's accomplishments and commending the ITBP and Army come amid ongoing tensions with China over their disputed border is an example of the work put in by the Center. India has reiterated its commitment to protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and both countries must work toward resolving the Border dispute through peaceful means.
