According to reports, several unidentified robbers stole a roughly two kilometer long railway track that connected the Lohat sugar plant to the Pandaul railway station. The incident occurred when there was little traffic on the road because of the shutdown of the Lohat mill a few years ago. Bihar Two Railway Protection Force (RPF) workers were suspended due to the terrible occurrence as a number of officials believed that the theft was committed with the help of RPF workers.
