A young engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) was suspended after she attempted to touch President Droupadi Murmu's feet in Rajasthan, violating security regulations. The occurrence took place on January 4. The state administration penalized the junior engineer who attempted to touch her feet one week after the occurrence.
