A Letter to PM Modi, to Help for Medical Assistance by Ukrainian President Zelensky

 Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine is trying his best to revive the condition of his war-torn nation. Beginning from gathering political support from the United Nations to deriving great military help from nations such as the US and other allies, no international assistance has been adequate enough to overpower the might of the Russian war against Ukraine completely. In yet another desperate call for help, Zelensky has requested the Indian PM Modi to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

 Zelensky’s Request to Modi

In a letter addressed to PM Modi, President Zelensky requested India to provide additional medicines and medical equipment to Ukraine. The letter sought India’s help in rebuilding the health infrastructure in Ukraine which has been crippled due to the war. It has also been proposed that the offer would benefit Indian companies as they could make profits in Ukraine while working for a noble cause.

With this, the letter also mentioned that an inter-governmental commission would be organized between the two countries at a date that will be mutually decided by the two countries in the upcoming days.


Ukraine’s Faith in Indian Hospitality and Diplomacy

The letter reflects that Ukraine holds great faith in Indian principles of non-violence and brotherhood among nations. Even in 2022, PM Modi also advised Russian President Putin that this era is not the era of war. Such noble acts of diplomacy confirm that India is a safe ally for Ukraine during this heartless military crisis caused by Russia. The letter addressed to PM Modi is a ray of new hope for Ukraine to survive the Russian war.
