A bomb blast inside a mosque in Peshawar kills 17 and injures another 90

In what appears to be one of the biggest shocks from the first month of 2023, the incident has taken aback everyone from Pakistan, let alone the world. The blast took place in the northwestern city of Peshawar in Pakistan on Monday. Reports suggest that 17 people are dead by now, while another 90 people are injured or wounded.   bomb blast bomb blast The blast happened on Monday afternoon, during the Zuhr prayers at around 1:40 pm. According to sources, there was a suicide bomber who pulled the trigger on these innocent civilians. He was standing in the front row while the prayers were being offered at the time of the explosion. According to police officials from the scene, a part of the mosque has collapsed, and people are still under it. Rescue operations, however, began immediately. Members of the Lady Reading Hospital said that they received 90 people injured from the blast, with some of them fighting the battle between life and death.
