  There is great news for air travellers. Actually, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has recently made several major changes in the rules. As per DGCA directives, airlines will now have to refund up to 75 per cent of the ticket price to affected passengers for 'downgrading' tickets on domestic flights. According to this, now the passengers will be reimbursed about 30 to 75 percent of the ticket price depending on the distance covered by the aircraft.   Big Good News for air Travellers Big Good News for air Travellers-Big Good News for air Travellers-Big Good News for air Travellers The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has made a very important change in the rules of Civil Aviation Requirements on Wednesday. According to the information received, in favor of reducing the ticket category of international flights, it has been decided to compensate with up to 30-75 percent (including taxes) in the ticket prices depending on the distance covered by the aircraft.  According to DGCA, 30 percent of the ticket money will be given back to the passenger in the international flight only if his journey is less than 500 kilometers. Apart from this, 50 percent of the money will be returned to the passenger between the distance of 500 km to 3500 km. Not only this, it has been decided to refund 75 per cent of the ticket amount for journeys of more than 3500 kms. This will greatly benefit the people who are fond of air travel. Their money will not go in vain. This change will benefit the middle class to a great extent. This decision is in the interest of the middle-class economy.
